how did you get the spot so quickly ?

I have a Vizio 65" and with your video i fixed my TV. It took me a wile to figure it out, my TV had a pin problem on the right side of the screen so looking at the Board from behind was the left strip cable just like the video. I cut a piece of tape and the size covered about 4 pins but i started to notice some horizontal lines so i used a volt tester and found the lowest number on the 6th pin from left to right. I cut the tape to just cover 1 pin and worked perfectly. Thanks and hope this helps others, don't know how long it will work but its a start. Will make a video of my problem fixed soon

Wow I was just about to take it to the rubbish tip but tried this and it worked. I put the celotape in a random place for the left side and it worked first time.

I previously fixed screen flickering with putting such tape at right side. Now I have issue with double image again. If the probkem detected in anothrr side, can I put tape on that side also. Please advise.

Hi just wanted to ask is it that board that needs changing. As you should be able to make the connection without the tape normally ?
